Practicum 2: Simle Middle School with Mrs. Wheeling

For this experience I got a lot about Middle School PE, Like how the students react to learning, new ways/ methods of teaching, and how to get the students really interacted and involved. I also learned about Digital literacy which is an online safety class for students which consists making a password, knowing not to trust strangers, being safe on the internet, and how to use technology properly.

Cultural diversity: with Mike Taylor
For this experience we got to go to the heritage center and teach 4th graders about the history in the museum. For my part I got to teach them about the dinosaurs and talk about The Native American model. This was great experience for me as I got to be up front and center teaching students the importance of history in the Heritage center.
Soccer coach: I am currently the soccer coach for Simle middle school 6th grade boys and girls' team. I have loved playing soccer as a little kid starting back in Kindergarten. Now I am able to pass on the skills and teachings that I've learned throughout the years to the younger generation.
Instructional Aid: I help sub as an Instructional Aid at Rita Murphy whenever my Schedule is free and open for me to be able to do that. I enjoy going there every time as the kids come running up to me to tell me new and exciting things happening in their life. I feel I am making an impact in those kids life and to see how much knowledge they have grown and gain.
Youth Ministry Director: I am the youth Ministry Director for First Presbyterian Church. In this job it consists planning lessons for kids from K-12th grade. I also plan events and activities for all the kids and teens. Some of my favorite activities are:
