My Teaching Philosophy

My teaching philosophy focuses on teaching students about their body and mind and how to improve their abilities and skills. Students need to be educated about why exercise is so good for them and how it can lead to a happier and healthier life. My students will learn to grow respect for their peers, for the teachers, the equipment, and especially for themselves. It is important that they learn these skills so that they can use them to grow and build connections as they grow older. I will give every student the best educational experience so that they can use the skills in the future and to help them find their interests in activities. â€‹

My Classroom Management Philosophy

My students will learn the value of equipment being used. He or she will learn that treating equipment the wrong way will lead to a not fun time for them. The students will have to pick up and clean the mess made in the gym room space. This teaches students to have respect for the space being used, the teacher, and for themselves by not having things so messy. The gym space is to be used by all students and all students will be able to participate in all activities. I firmly believe that people grow together as a team and a team helps each other out, that is how we become successful in life.

Building Connections

I believe it is important to build connections with your students, to learn how they are thinking and feeling is important. To know that you care about what is happening in their lives and that you'll be there for them. I believe that it is also important to know who their family is and to learn from the parents what that student needs to succeed or to be motivated for them to succeed. I believe that parents should be involved in their student's education as well.
